In this exhibition Roger displays original charcoal drawings and abstract paintings in acrylic.
106.8 ACEfm radio for inland Andalucía announced a creative collaboration with the Andalusian International Artists Group whereby they will make their extensive modern studio premises and window space at La Trocha shopping centre available to the group members on an ongoing roll-over basis. Each six weeks the displays will rotate with new Artworks by different group members thereby bringing a new fresh exciting exhibition of artworks by an International group of Artists all living and working in Andalucía.
Dave Wakelin, presenter at 106.8 ace fm said “We are delighted to to be associated with the AIA-Group and look forward to seeing the variety of artwork by this professional group of Artists”.
During the last five years, the AIA-Group has been focusing on building up networks between artists and businesses that wish to be associated with the Arts throughout Andalucía. Their members have exhibited in the area stretching from the Casa de la Cultura in Competa, via Torre del Mar, Malaga City all the way down to Gibraltar and inland to Álora via Estepona, Marbella, Monda, La Cala, Mijas Pueblo, Valtocado and Fuengirola. Their professional approach to exhibiting has endeared them to the culturally interested public that attend all of their exhibitions. They are ably supported by mentors who are non artists and as a self help group have generated an energy that is admirable.
Artists scheduled to exhibit at the ACEfm studio are Ian Hunter, Richard Wood, Nigel Short and Sian Kirkby among others.
